I just can't see Sae as the bottom, he would (imo) never be submissive toward anyone.

➤ Many people say he's delicate and girly, but honestly, he's way too prideful, confident and dominant to be girly lmfao it just doesn't fit ngl

➤ I mean, I absolutely love fem Sae (Sae is an unisex name, like, Charlie and Sam e.g., so it's actually not only a girl's name (many ppl think that though) and because of that and his childhood bangs he's apparently comparable to a girl...)

➤ But still, it's actually so funny (imo) that some people would rather have Sae as the bottom, even though he doesn't even match that energy, when there's Shidou who looks, acts and dresses quite feminine ও

Like, help, I've even seen people saying Sae's trans... I mean, I respect lots of opinions, but this one is so weird tbh, because we all know it's not the case, since he was born a boy and not a girl. He doesn't even look like a female, not the slightest bit. Men can have long lashes, sometimes even longer eyelashes than women, so that's not a feature that's considered girly and his hair is just messy -> I had bangs too as a kid😭

Back to Saeryu ও :

✎ I mean, I like the idea of them switching or smth, but Sae as the bottom doesn't make any sense to me (some people act like he's helpless and fragile, so he needs someone to make him feel good or smth. Bro, he's organized, confident, fearless, arrogant as hell, blunt and nonchalant, he doesn't need a strong man who carries him to bed??😭)

✎ Also if Shidou was real, he'd definitely look more feminine than masculine. He's the type of dude who wears make-up, a choker, a hairband and has pink-dyed hair. Also in that one official art where he's wearing wings and horns he talked about putting the horns up his ass... (where's the soccer ball, bro😦)

I see your ‘Sun/moon ship dynamic,’ and raise you ‘binary stars dynamic’ as in— we orbit each other. We stay in place and keep moving for the other because they won’t stop pulling us in and we won’t stop chasing them. We will draw each other closer and closer until we merge together and explode into a single, beautiful nebula made of our combined star dust. And the nebula is beautiful because it’s us together, because we were always meant to rip ourselves apart to put ourselves back together as one. We are on a path of mutually assured destruction but we can’t turn back now. it’s already happened. It hasn’t happened yet… but it will.

I love the platonic relationships between Dick and the other members of the batfam. Dick loves so thoughroghly and I love when its portrayed as swallowing him whole, his love drowns him.

His dynamic with Bruce, the anger, the trust and the love.

His dynamic with Jason, the guilt, the relief and the love he has for him

His dynamic with Tim, the pride, the trust and love.

His dynamic with Damian is by far one of my favourites as it has the guilt of 'replacing' Bruce as the father figure while he was stuck in the time stream, it has the unbridled pride in who Damian has turned into, it has the implicit trust that comes from working together as Batman and Robin. (I am ill for these two I love them so much)

His dynamic with Steph and the development of it when Bruce is in the timestream is also really precious to me, because that's his Batgirl.

The most common denominator is the love that he holds for them all, that is his family. He will be damned if he loses them again and he loves with his whole being.

I dont know enough about his relationship with Cass or Duke to properly talk about it yet :(

Small Rant About Dynamics (ft. Damian Wayne & Dick Grayson)

it pains me whenever people seem to think all love is romantic love, or that romantic love automatically means the love for each other is greater. Platonic love that is so great- overwhelming until it fills every corner and crevice of your heart- makes me sick. whenever fic authors potray the insane amount of love that Dick holds for Damian- more so than he holds for the others- drives me crazy. The fact that Dick would do anything, kill and hurt and die and come back, just for Damian screws with me so badly simply because i know some will take them as romantic. But in reality, Dick literally just loves Damian so much. like thats his baby and you take it romantically :( they just make me so sad and miserable but they can cure me all at once

This dynamic pops up super frequently when I’m brainstorming OCs and their stories. Is it projecting? Maybe…

Bonus points if they just wanted to be friends the whole time.

So in this Au, F!Raph died when Cj was 5. So there’s not much to say future wise. Cuz Cj rmbs zilch

Present wise: there was inital awkwardness for Cj meeting someone he’s only ever heard stories off plus that awkwardness of meeting someone new. But it was a breath of fresh air for Case, cuz surrounded by these reminders and unfamiliarity, Raph hurts the least. In the first few days post invasion, Cj hung out a lot with Raph cuz everyone was kinda down for the count. April couldn’t be around 24/7 cuz she had to check in with her human family, Mikey was spending the first 3-5 days sleeping alot cuz mystic exhaustion plus his hands. Donnie was in his lab a lot trying to process all the events, plus fix everything the Krang broke and Leo was in his week long coma. And Splints who decided to get off the couch for once was stretched thin trying to look out for everyone and so as a result the two were kinda just smushed tgt allowing them to bond.

Overall I picture their dynamic as the most laidback (drama free). Largely in part cuz; A)Cj has less emotional hang ups cuz he doesn’t have to expand mental energy to manage his expectations or manage * cough push down cough * any crushing grief/feelings of abandonment/anger cuz said feelings of abandonment cuz he doesn’t rmb F!Raph to have an attachment, tho he does occasionally feel a bit guilty sometimes for hanging out with Raph but that’s a comic for another time.

B) while Cj is a menace. He’s also a sensible and kind (everyone say thank you F!Mikey) menace who sees how stressed Raph gets trying to wrangle all 3 brothers and feels bad about adding more to his plate. And plus is also very much aware of his mortality and others mortality cuz apocalypse. So the menace only comes out during chill time. Not on missions. Misson wise he’s just like he is in the movie trying to get everyone to stay on track. Which Raph rlly appreciates. But even during chill time Cj is arguably the “calmer” one cuz that’s just how he is as a person. Tho that calmer is debatable cuz it’s by Raph’s skewed standards of his other siblings not normal ppl standards to normal ppl Case still looks unhinged lmao.

but generally if they’re hanging out 1 on 1 (in a group setting it’s a whole diff story) Cj tries his best to not stress Raph too much. Unless the menace/cain instinct is hitting hard that day. Cuz he’s a sweet boy liek that. 😂. so they’re usually doing typical chill friend things, watching movies, sparring, sharing bout their day, . causally wandering around topside/Hidden city. With the undercurrent of Raph trade mark mother-henning and Cj depending on the circumstances either goes along with it or tries to get Raph to back off cuz it worries/irritates Cj. All in all they’re just your typical very wholesome older- younger brother dynamic

Side note: Raph and Cj are honestly lowkey relieved their hangouts/dynamic are so chill. They love their family but man do they both need a break sometimes XD. For Junior it’s cuz seeing the dead not dead version of family plus struggle of grief/ juggling his expectations for said family is exhausting and having someone whose removed from that whole situation is like phew thank god. For Raph he’s just so glad he has a little brother/sibling/friend who doesn’t have a 95% chance of turning anything (even fricking ice) into a grease fire when left unsupervised unintentionally or not. Tho tbh causal theft, looser morals and gratuitous use of blackmail and occasional pranks may not be much better. Cj is truly his fathers son 😂

Whats all the brothers relationship like? Whats their dynamic if u know what i mean?

Buckle up cause this one is gonna be long.

Raph and Donnie-The youngest and the oldest. Donnie is acutely aware that Raph can be a walking trouble magnet(when he's not the trouble in question)and tends to try and keep and an eye on him. On the other hand, while Donnie knows he probably shouldn't be impressed by his brother's "I fear no god" attitude, it's hard not to be sometimes. Raph meanwhile appreciates his older brother’s resourceful nature and uncanny ability to get them out of danger. Due to Raph's Insomnia and Donnie’s tendency to stay up late working on projects, Raph tends to hang out in the lab when neither of them can sleep, sometimes they'll chat away the hours, but most nights it's just nice to hang out and do their own separate thing. Both can be stubborn at times, but it doesn’t result in more than the occasional minor squabble for most part. Raph is the one person in the family that actively enjoys Donnie's drum playing as opposed to just politely encouraging it.

Mikey and Leo-The middle children of the family. Leo's tendency to distrust overly nice people clashes with Mikey's dislike of assuming the worst about people, This of course, has led to disagreements on how to resolve situations. Mikey is also a terrible patient as he tries to sneak off because he gets restless easily; which drives Leo up a wall from worry and frustration. Leo will seek Mikey out to bounce ideas off when he's experiencing a writer's block, and they also share similar tastes in food as well as a stage magic phase when they were younger... though it was to varying degrees of success.

Leo and Raph- The red and blue duo. Raph hates taking medicine and will try and prolong the inevitable for as long as he can, despite this Leo considers him the best patient out of his brothers since he’s the one who's most likely to actually rest. Raph continually tries to convince Leo to get out of his April Fool's retirement and form an alliance with him... the day both of them agree will be the most terrifying day for the whole family, Leo is waiting for Raph to show him an idea that will prove he is ready. Raph's roller skates are actually Leo's hand-me-downs; Leo swore off skating after he lost his first baby tooth to it, Raph got the hang of it after losing a couple of his own baby teeth. sometimes, Leo will join Raph on his photography ventures, both to clear his head and spark some ideas, and to have the peace of mind of someone being there with his brother if something bad happens. Despite not being much taller, Raph likes to poke fun at his older brother’s height.

Donnie and Mikey- the purple and orange duo. When Mikey was 9, he asked Donnie if he could make him a ‘'cool robot arm' like those from the movies; the prosthetic he has currently is the 28th model. After Donnie made the first model, Mikey gave him his scarf, the one he still wears, as thanks. That model was unfortunately not waterproof, something Donnie had forgotten to tell Mikey, and it needed to be wrapped in a bag of rice pretty soon after. They like to play 1v1 board games together, mostly connect four, Donnie will drag out his turn as he gets absorbed by strategy, but Mikey always wins with the same strategy. As he believes, "If it isn't broken, don't fix it.". Mikey is very appreciative (and a bit guilty) that Donnie is patient in repairing his arm if he breaks it, but Donnie has never considered it a bother, and never will. They also share similar music tastes.

Raph and Mikey- The youngest brothers. Despite only barely being a year older, Mikey will still try to pull the “older sibling” card to try and impart some wisdom on his younger brother. Since Raph is his only younger brother, Mikey does try to be the cool older sibling…he gets points for trying. What Mikey doesn’t know is that he never needed to prove himself anyways cause Raph already admired him for his emotional intelligence. They have somewhat of a friendly rivalry going on the during training, which can extend to the battlefield by way of making it a competition. When they were younger, the two used to fight a lot, but nowadays the arguments tend to be short lived and they are quick to apologize. Both of them avoid horror films like the plague. Raph can’t understand Mikey’s love of bugs, finding the creatures freaky.

Leo and Donnie-The oldest brothers. Leo is the most successful of all the brothers at getting Donnie to actually go to bed. Leo is acutely aware that Donnie is the smartest person he knows, but that doesn't mean he knows what to do in every situation, so he tries to lend his assistance when he can. Donnie admires (and sometimes envies) Leo's ability to work under pressure. Leo has yet to beat Donnie in a spar, and really admires his skill. They disagree (rather vehemently) on pineapples on Pizza, and probably will for the rest of their lives. Both of them can’t cook to save their lives. When they were younger, they were almost the same height but Donnie shot up while Leo was condemned to the shorter twin existence. they bond over watching "unsolved mystery" shows together and are most comfortable venting to each other. Leo's very willing to listen to Donnie ramble about science though he doesn't always understand. All that aside, Donnie, unfortunately for Leo, is actually the worst at resting when he's sick and it drives Leo mad.

And as a bonus!

Splinter and the turtles-As Splinter was rather young and inexperienced, in the first few months of raising the turtles she was more like a frantic babysitter and less like a parent. Eventually, she found her footing as their mother. She tries to balance guiding her children and giving them their own free choices so that they can learn by making their own mistakes and triumphs. As such, she's always openly supported her boys' passions. If faced by a "greater good or your family" situation, she would choose her family without regret. Despite all this, she's never told her family she was once human, as she believed that children should never carry the responsibilities and burdens of their parents. She also encouraged Ninjutsu as a skill and taught them that there was never any shame in running away from a fight. Despite their contrasting opinions on the Horror genre, Raph will often join her in watching trashy reality tv shows. At Leo’s request, Splinter was the one who taught him first aid, and she grew up listening to the same type of music Leo does. Mikey likes to meditate with her and they sometimes work together on quilts(even when they don’t need one).She sometimes worries about her eldest; that his nonstop mind may serve to hurt him once he finds a puzzle he can’t solve.

This was a very fun ask to answer!

My favorite dynamics firstly include lovers to friends except the relationship is stronger and or friendly and does not come in the way of any relationships they have after (points if they're aspec).

Secondly, people who decide to raise children together platonically biological, adopted, or so and so (points again if they have separate lives that do not interfere with each other, spend literally every waking moment together, or live the world's best and ideal romantic and sexual relationship would seem but aren't romantically involved).

Thirdly, "I have a car." "Cool, I've been wanting to leave this place since the moment I breathed the air here want to hop in and ditch?" "Yeah that works." (It's leaving home for bigger and better things, that's it).
