ALRIGHT!
I'll be releasing a majority of these in pairs, in the order of their rankings ( and when they appear on the leaderboard ).
Wish me luck!! šŖš¾
This type of fame where "you become to hot til your not" usually applies to pop stars or idols. It would be interesting if this theme was also applied to Lucky Cyan story.
From her name alone, it seems like everything comes up daisies for her in the eyes of her fans, but the always doing no wrong in the eyes of everyone, including yourself.
One of her quotes:
"I want to become a normal person. One who makes mistakes. That's my true self, after all."
Makes me believe that it could be possible that her draw back of being "Lucky" is that she can't excite herself anymore and she loses parts of her inspiration to make music. Which in turn my cause the company to take notice and find someone that fits the bill with easier strings to make them perform to their brand.
I recently just rewatch the Disney movie Cars.
And boy, can I just say it has a major theme that fits perfectly with the thene in tbhx.
Because the scene between McQueen and Doc Hudson as the old race car revealed the news article of his accident that force him out of the season.
The hard hitting line when McQueen asked, "Why did you leave at the top of your game?"
And he answered, "I didn't quit. They quit on me."
The way Doc recalled how he had been out back together and ready to race again. Only to be pointed out, "You're History" and easily replaced with a new rookie.
The troupe of fame being short-lived and conditional is such a classic theme and true for every period. The movie became a sad reminder that the world has always been this way.
Ngl, I'm really hoping one of the characters, or at least one of the Xs has the same backstory.
The same theme is already hinted with Lin Ling's pinkie finger exclamation of Nice "being replaced". But both Nice and OG E-Soul's case is more opposite yet parallel theme where the company is adamantly trying to keep both "brands" in the game regardless of the consequences.
So it would be soooo interesting if they cover a story where the company instead easily abandon the hero the moment it didn't meet their expectations or made a single mistake, along with the aftermath. And if I'm not I'm gonna write one myself!
Completely ignoring the last few minutes of Episode 6 for a moment, what are you guys' ideas for the ship name between Yang Cheng x Xia Qing x Shang Chao?
I'm personally partial to 3-Soul.
I finally watched ep6, and I was so right about Shang Chao. He really is just gay for Yang Cheng. Yang Cheng may have had a little crush on Xia Qing, but it was Shang Chao, who has been enthusiastically supporting him, whom he actually fell for...
But since this is a Chinese show, they canāt outright say heās in love with a man. They can only subtly hint at it.
At this moment, I thought we were gonna have a straight date scene between Yang Cheng and Xia Qing, but then the show cut that off and instead showed us something more intimate between Shang Chao and Yang Cheng:
This scene looks like the boss is trying to match Yang Chao and Shang Cheng together, so his interruption in the earlier ādateā with Xia Qing now seems deliberate.
Yang Cheng here looks like a guy feeling nervous on his first date š
The scene being set at night and with only the two of them around also makes it more romantic compared to the morning ādateā that was interrupted by so many kids flocking the store
Another misdirection was this scene:
Oh no, the ālove rivalā has a surprise for the ālove interestā! What will our Yang Cheng do?
Oops, false alarm! The surprise is actually for Yang Cheng.
All this time, it was always just Yang Cheng for Shang Chao.
And now this is what Shang Chao looks like in Yang Chengās eyes:
He looks so warm and bright and loved.
Yang Chengās earlier discomfort when Xia Qing mentioned that āShang Chao asked her outā can now be interpreted as Yang Cheng actually being jealous of Xia Qing. He was uncomfortable because the man he loved had asked a girl out, but then felt relieved when it turned out to be just a misunderstanding.
More proof that Yang Cheng has fallen in love with Shang Chao...
When he saw only Xia Qing in the room, his reaction was just of normal surprise
He then asked where Shang Chao is⦠which is still normal. After all, theyāre friends now.
But then Shang Chao finally arrived...
and Yang Cheng looks so so happy.
With Xia Qing, he was only surprised. But with Shang Chao, he was elated.
But the most convincing evidence of all was Yang Cheng and Xia Qingās conversation at the end:
Things have been going well between the two of them, so why so serious?
Because Xia Qing has caught on to Yang Chengās feelings for Shang Chao. She sees him slowly falling in love with Shang Chao, while Yang Cheng still doesnāt know how to face it.
Itās true that Yang Cheng had feelings for Xia Qing before, and itās also true that he still cares for her now. He can also see how much Xia Qing cares for him.
But these just make it all the more difficult for Yang Cheng to face his true feelings.
He feels guilty for Xia Qing
yet at the same, he canāt take his eyes off Shang Chao
And thatās why Shang Chao had to die. Because every hero love interest in this show has be to killed off by the narrativeāgunshots
You've been turned into an animal
Spin the wheel to find out which
"The best medicine is showing that you care."
A Hero Card for my TBHX oc, Vital (Real Name: Libby Lee) and she is the Number 20* Hero.
Here is a somewhat rendering of the card border if you want to do this for your own TBHX oc. āŗļø
Have Fun!!
If I were to describe the past and present TBHX Story Arcs in terms of 80s movies-
Lin Ling = The Princess Bride
Yang Cheng = Rocky
In light of the recent episode of TBHX, I would like to redact this statement from here on out with my genuine and deepest apology.
Everytime I thinking of and keep seeing @supremefloof TBHX: Bird Theory :
Sorry, tbhx fandom, but this is what I see when I hear "X is main antagonist" theories
My own take on why the Enlightener was trying to expose Nice would either be:
He found evidence of cover-up with Nice and the Hero Smile incident. Cause indications and screenshots of that has been circle both here and Twitter. Even LH0 has been teasing about dark turn Nice possibly committed.
He is a petty paparazzi troll. He was probably jealous of Nice's personage and status as a hero that he maybe believe digging up or fabricating dirt would bump his own ranking.
Hopefully we get more Villains similar, in motivation, trying to expose the Hero Commission being picked up by the Spotlight Organization. It adds a layer of dark gray, if Spotlight is mostly trying to expose the hypocrisy in the Commission.
By making heroes essential brands, and having their own villains on payroll within agencies, I certainly can say that it would be interesting if Spotlight is composed of the former Golden Age of Villains and they are feed up with how they themselves have been pushed out of the spot light.
*Ba Dum tss*
But real talk, we'll probably learn with time, probably in the episode focused on Hero Tower.
man why was enlighter even looking into nice. he wasn't just trying to dig up dirty laundry, he was framing it as exposing nice for the good of the public. he even looked into the mistreatment of contract companies by nice('s pr team). i feel like we all glossed over the part where treeman legit fucked over lin ling's previous company for no other reason except to cover its own ass after og!nice dies.
obviously enlighter is framed as the antagonist (and he also is the antagonist) but like what's his motive? he seems genuinely convinced that nice is this goliath figure he has to fight against, but he somehow never entertains the idea that nice could be just as constrained by his trust value as enlighter is, or that nice is also beholden to treeman as an employee. i'm so curious about this guy. what does he know about og!nice that we don't?
Certain people in fandoms: OMG EW! YOU CAN'T SHIP THEM!! It's morally and narratively wrong!!
Me, the Shippers, and Mutli-Shippers:
You seem to be well-versed with superhero comics
Gotta have to ask, is there a hero with no tragic background?
It just spins in my head after I read that LH0's concept for Hero X is a "new type of hero" who doesn't have a tragic background to enjoy what he does
And I kept thinking, "There has to be a superhero with no tragic backstory right?" And I can't think of one!
The closest would be Superman, and that's a thin line because he was only a baby when his whole planet is destroyed, and only learn about his origin later in life.
Other that, the other close example would be Danny Phantom and Kim Possible. They're not comic superhero and more of a children superhero. But the selling point about them has always been that they're normal teens who happens to take up superheroing.
I don't know. I'm only into a few niche superheroes. So I feel a bit ignorant asking this. But still, can't hurt to ask.
Hmmm...*reflecting on my existing comic knowledge*
While there are more Heroes with Tragic backstories than there are NONE, usually the ones that donāt have the tragic stuff ( or burdens) when they become the Hero. (Ex. Kyle Rayner from Green Lantern, Spidermen Variants, Invincible, etc. )
But going by LHO statement, in comics, I'd say Gwenpool and the Beyonder.
Cause in comic Origin, Gwenpool lived in our universe where superheroes and villains were just fictional characters and she just inexplicably manifested into the Marvel Universe. After that she just pushed herself not to be an "extra", who became a mercenary with Deadpool powers then later became a member of the West Coast Avengers.
As for the Beyonder....He is cosmic reality bending multiversal being who was accidentally released by a failed science experiment. He mostly plays as an observant of Earth and occasional instigator of heroes and villains to see who is the most powerful. But in most versions of him (and them), his main drive is the fascination and want to understand the concept of "desire" and human nature.
Though both of them are on different spectrums of heroics and morality, I think they share the same "we just exist and we're just gonna do" energy.
I assume Hero X is similar that way, in that he probably appeared out of nowhere out of general curiosity, and wants to test the limits of what really makes a hero and how their desire to be one push them further?
I honestly can believe that Shang Chao could have set-up this kidnapping for ALL the E-Soul contestants so he can outshine that version over the original to ramp-up his own business.
But I do agree.
It would absolutely funny if Shang Chao didnāt even think of Yang Cheng, even high-key hilarious if he actually HATED Yang Cheng on the down low. XD
Especially if it's that Two faced charming/arrogant rich prince.
GUYS! I know the theory of Shang Chao being behind the kidnapping in order to mold Yang Chen as a hero is popular...
But wouldn't it be funnier if he made the kidnapping request but has zero mind for Yang Chen?
Like imagine you're the ambitious type of guy who would stage a kidnapping in order to further whatever goal you had in mind and possibly raise your Trust Value
But then, out of the freaking blue, comes a Zero-Trust-Value-No name-Punk came running to play hero, manage to chase after a car with a bike, fight toe-to-toe with two armed guys, and tap into E-Soul's ability, and ruin all your carefully curated plan
And Shang Chao would just be gaping on the side and thinking, "YANG CHEN?! Fucking Yang Chen?! How did heā where did heā you know what? I'm fine. This is fine. Let's salvage this. You wanna be a hero, Yang Chen? Fine. I'll make sure you'll be MY hero "
Credit to @uraniathegypsy for inspiring me this crack theory
You know that strange itchy feeling you get when you see a character pop up enough times, you grow assumptions that you kinda hope your wrong about.....
Well that was me with this EP. of TBHX........(Spoilers ahead!!)
It might be because I'm already overprotective of E-Soul/Yang Cheng, But Shang Chao gives me the biggest Suspect vibes after re-watching the Ep. 3 times.
The first thing that caught my attention was his name: SHANG CHAO
Now we were already introduced to a Mr. Shang ( Not Shand, Good these english translation are such a mess), who is CEO of the Treeman Corporation after being the son of upper management in Mighty Glory.
But by the timeline, it can't the same person. So I thought cause of the name and the connects Treeman does have, he could possibly be the CEO's son/relative.
Having a different vision but the same cycle wanting to break into the Hero enterprise.
He has ambitious goal, which you got to be going against the Big 4 agencies. ( especially with DOS buying others out.)
However, he was able to get a spot, at MG, as a judge for the anniversary of one of their top heroes.
It could be because he's a possible Nepo baby or have a prodigy's eye, but him casually and inadvertently cockblocking Yang Cheng, pulling away his focus.
Now this could all be a misunderstanding. And misunderstanding is one of the most used tropes to create tension or false perceptions. Which during my first watch, maybe he's a cool guy, a friendly guy......
A guy that has a secret crush on Yang Cheng this whole time....
But while this was happening:
This is happening:
THAT MOTHERFUCKER IS GONE!!
HE IS ONE OF THE PANELING JUDGES AND HE IS GONE!!
So that detail caused me to think, what if he was the one who set that whole kidnapping scheme. He is obviously close to Yang Cheng's crush, and even has connections to get tickets to a concert she obviously wanted to go to.
So If he has connections to do something like this, than he has the means to make offers that could change a persons life financially.
Which brings me back to his ambitions
And how far is he willing to go for them.....?
It's too coincidental for this guy to show up every time Yang Cheng is with this girl and him showing up as judge for a competition he's participating in.
While the prevs for next episode show him being on Yang Cheng side, and I wanna believe this guy has his heart in the right place...
....but it's too eerie for me NOT to see that their is something sinister in his presence.
fingers crossed that I'm wrong š¤š¾
Here's to @vaccoi & @marisandini-chu-blog for another crazy tbhx theory.
I know that we all have in the fandom have grown love Moon and Lin Ling. BUT LOOK AT HIM:

Hey y'all. I talked about the idea of self-inserting in my horror romance yandere visual novel, A Little Inconvenience over on itch and Bluesky. I figured it would be important to also talk about it here, especially since I've had the chance to listen to others' opinions on the matter and had time to think.
To catch you up to speed, I've been getting requests to toggle Sabrina off/make her invisible. When developing this game, I figured this was going to happen at some point. Fans of visual novels love self-inserting, especially those who play yandere games. However, my vision for this game was to create a set protagonist that was not only the object of a yandere's obsessions and love gone too far, but was also filling in space that we do not see in this sub-genre: BIPOC, chubby protagonists.
By giving the option to remove Sabrina, I am erasing the representation that's sorely lacking in this space. Not only that, but I'm hurting my vision. In this game, the POVs switch. You not only see the game from Sabrina's perspective, but Darius' as well.
Take the first CG for example. When Darius meets Sabrina for the first time, he sees her as angelic, beautiful, and there's an ethereal glow behind her (similar to what you would see in an romance CG in an otome game). You get into his brain and understand why his world has gone from murky, gray back to full color from this one innocent interaction in the store. With a self-insert, you wouldn't get this. The game's HOOK is gone.
Aside from the importance of having Sabrina there and being able to explore her as a character, her culture, and her story, removing her (even as an option) would also diminish my vision and the story both of which I cannot compromise. Because I know if I add the option to do so, I won't be 100% happy with the game.
That is why I will not be bringing the option of self-inserting to A Little Inconvenience. For a title like this, self-inserting doesnāt work. It works for other games, just not for this one.
Now, I understand if this will disappoint people. I know a large part of players in this community love self-inserting, and if this is a deal-breaker for you, I strongly suggest you play the other wonderful titles out there that let you do that. Give those developers your support and money! They deserve it.
But please do not come into my comments or message box and accuse me of not being inclusive when my mission from the start WAS to be inclusive. This was a comment I received a while ago, and it struck a nerve with me and I haven't been able to forget it.
That is all. Thank you.

REblog if you are Asexual, support Asexuals, or spend most of your time actually thinking about Superheroes.
Found this on Twitter and thought letās expose my shipping and dynamic self. I added those other two for fun.
While I see the appeal and like Nicest, but I much more enjoy the AU of them being Twins/Siblings ( Also Iām a sucker for Wrice and Moonling, Iām sorry roast me in the comments š„²). Based the PV for EP 5 , Iām keeping it that way till proven wrong.
More Self Indulgence down below:
Good Night Everybody! š
This looks soooooo FUN! I love making fan PokĆ©mon teams!! š¤©
"It is said that Trainers with Victini always win, regardless of the type of encounter." - bw pokedex
yap + bonus w/ reshiram below
The enigmatic reigning champion, 'X' remains undefeated since winning the last Tournament two years ago.
would the tbhx characters still be heroes in this AU? would they keep their powers? is there still a trust value system? idk.
I was wondering about if X is the only one with a legendary/mythical but then I thought about drawing Moon with Hoopa
instead, to distinguish X as special, he's got a shiny Victini, which has never been distributed and is only possible to obtain by hacking. It also happens to match his color scheme perfectly!!
maybe he's got an action replay lmfaoo
He uses premier balls for his team to match his color scheme and because they look cool you get them FREE with a purchase of 10 pokƩballs!
Two reasons why his other pokƩmon is Pidove:
1. Pidove is a common pokƩmon for common people, which matches with his salaryman alter ego. fun fact that I found on serebii: Pidove spawn in the Castelia City park, and there is exactly one clerk in the city who will battle you with a Pidove.
2. bird theory
If I do more, I was wondering if I should assign everybody a legendary. I'm also super super biased so I immediately wanted to stick Reshiram to X because Reshiram's my favorite legendary and happens to be white.
To be fair to myself though, it might work because Reshiram is the Truth and X is described as "seeing the truth of the world". Plus, if X wants to change the system then he might align with Reshiram who helps those who want to build a world of truth.
again, I'm extremely biased towards Unova. A disproportionate amount of my favs are from Unova. I was thinking Queen with Cobalion?
if I do end up doing the 1 legendary or mythical/character idea then I think E-Soul would either have Regieleki (fast electricity) or Genesect (old thing with gun)
I was debating whether to put this on my pokemon sideblog, but ultimately I'm just gonna rb it there i think
feel free to suggest stuff!
So this is one of the main things that have been on my mind after episode 4. (SPOILER TALK WARNING ā ļø ā¼ļø )
After the Blanksterās defeat,God eye is taunting Nice/Lin Ling with how much of his āperfectionā as a Hero image is and deep down is nothing but a miserable sham. And it's really getting into Nice/Lin Ling.
ā¦.until this happens:
Lin Ling's Promo proposal breaks the broadcast.
It is made aware that know one knows where the promo came from. Not Godās Eye, and not even Miss J and her goons, who have been trying to hack into the broadcast the entire time.
My theory is that X was the one who changed the broadcast.
But for what reason?
Well..
While everyone is confused by the sudden Ad, Lin Ling is completely enthralled by it.
It brings back the memories of his old self, his drive and passion that HEĀ can be the hero not the packaged image of what the fans want.
That is what gave him the will power to break from the Nice personage, run to Moon, and claim himself as the Everymanās hero.
(Iām sorry, I know his Hero name is something else but I canāt, Iām calling him Lin Ling from now on)
Now knowing what we know, some of the animation changes happen for a reason and are usually followed by a snap in the background. X has the ability to warp and control the essence and matter of reality. Not to mention he is supposedly a Vtuber or Streamer himself.
From what we see from Xās PV, his civilian self is the office worker in one of the Hero Agencies, Fomo.
His position in the company is yet unclear, but it DEFINITELY clear that he is able to move and use his powers somewhat undetected by his colleagues and the higher ups.
The means in which he could have obtained the proposal promo is:Ā
He could have hacked and stole Lin Lingās Promo directly from the Treeman Server or from Miss Jās Email.
HE HAS BEEN WATCHING LIN LING THE ENTIRE TIME!
I personally believe that both methods are possible, but why would Hero X choose this time to act? What does he gain by leaking theĀ proposal?Ā
My theory, he is trying to change or create a new renaissance of Heroes.
In each of the Trailers and PVs that feature X, he is seen changing and switching the narrative around. He is manipulating the perception of not only the belief of the people, but also inspiring other heroes within his board of fate to redefine the what and who Hero X can be.
Whether that makes him even more powerful or weakens him, he is resetting the Value system of what it means to be a Hero, focusing little on public trust but building it on the belief of the convictions of the heroes.
Well finally got that one out of the chamber. I might do one on which Hero in the story might fit which chess piece, but I'll hold onto that after E-Soul or Lucky Cyan's Arcs wrap-up
Shout out to @vaccoiI! I told you I was gonna mention X!
I WAS FRICKING RIGHT!! FOMO IS YOUTUBE AND DOS IS DISNEY!!!
So I've been thinking alot after Ep. 4 (for....reasons š„²) but opened up and brought attention of somethings.
One of them being that we get to see more of other Hero Agencies, glimpses of how they operate, and what each of their "brand" is for the Hero Commission.I'd like to dedicated this post on the info that we know and my on personal theories on them.
First off, we have the Treeman Group whose CEO is Mr. Shand. For their employed Hero/Villain rooster so far has featured:
Nice
Moon
Wreck
Firm Man
Blankster
Lin Ling ( new recruit )
Translated desc.- "a hero agency that makes good use of marketing to shape the hero's personality" (@tbhx_officialCN)
From what we've seen, the mangers and staff take in precaution on how their heroes are depicted on stage, their meet-ups with fans, as well as crafting a boosting narrative for their heroes trust values to grow in the eyes of the fans. They are not above bribery, coercion, and stunt casting in order to push their quota ( as seen by the actions of Miss.J )
Also from what I've seen and gathered, it seems that Treeman possibly owns much of the real estate and city development in this world cause much of their promo features a lot of residential areas and shopping districts with their brand on them.
So maybe them hiring people to play the part of villains is because they are the ones who are able to rebuild plus reshape how fans live and consume.
Up next is FOMO, which literally stands for "Fear of Missing Out". Their CEO seems to be this young guy named Zac. Their rooster so far consists of:
Loli
Ahu
Translated desc.- "provides ordinary people with opportunities to speak out and become famous" (@tbhx_officialCN)
So from their general description they seem like the mostly are in tune with what regular people are doing, and finding out what's new and fresh.
From the look of their office space, FOMO it's the most colorful and lively of the 4 agencies. It gives off what a lot of start-up tech, social media, and web HQs like Google and Youtube.
It's possible that most, if not all, of their heroes started out as Influencers or people that became heroes through viral moments on the web. Maybe their dark side is that their heroes have to keep coming up with more new, and exciting acts or content to please their fans to keep raking in Trust Value.
It could be more possible that FOMO has the same guide lines like YouTube, Twitter, and Twitch. ( Which would be pretty bleak ^^')
Third, we have Mighty Glory whose CEO is the mystery guy right here. Their rooster, as far as we know, consist of:
E-Soul
Ghostblade
Dragon Boy
Translated desc.- "The ace hero organization Mighty Glory has successfully cultivated many high-ranking heroes" (@tbhx_officialCN)
Just looking at the main heroes they have, this agency mainly focuses on acquiring heroes that have a wide-ranged of fighting and physical skills.
They also seem to have morally gray code and ethics. Some not against pummeling or killing those that they deemed "deserve it".
My theories on the CEO is that he is collects and sees their heroes how a Roman Emperor does with Gladiators. They are valued solely on their combatant attributes and merciless displays, but are kept in line behind the scenes like wild animals or slaves.
And lastly, we have DOS. I have yet to find what it the abbreviation means, but this is their CEO, Mickey. Their hero rooster, so far in the show, consists of:
Queen
Lucky Cyan
The Johnnies
Translated desc. - "DOS pursues high efficiency by acquiring a large number of small hero companies to grow stronger." (@tbhx_officialCN)
So it seems like they are the largest AND most powerful agency out of the collective 4. It has a very...Disney way of acquiring more heroes to cultivate it's company.
They have means to tap into different markets of branding for their heroes.
On one brand, you can appeal to animal lovers and sell marketable mascot plushies, and on the other, you can appeal to pop star and music fans who want to see their favorite idol to succeed.
Not to mention they hold one of the strongest powerhouses to take the title of X.
O_O!!
Disney Evil! This company is willing to obtain and cultivate their heroes so it can become the most controlling Hero IP out in the world (This CEO is Steve Jobs and Bob Iger rolled into one).
So if their was ever a chance or motive for these agencies claim to dominance. it's DOS.
So I hope you enjoyed my on-the spot, collective analysis and ramblings on the agencies so far. I'm still holding on to some other theories and little details I spot that I want to post soon (hopefully a shorter one ^^')
Looking at the character profiles for the top 10 and seeing which heroes are in the same company is interesting bc you get to see an idea of what kind of brand each company has for their heroes in top 10. Mighty glory specialises in unstable pretty boys and dos probably has the best pride month campaign with lucky cyan and queen. Fomo has the cutesy heroes so they probably get a lot of collabs with other brands like the in-universe equivalent of sanrio and treeman specialises in dooming your favourite characters
So I've been thinking alot after Ep. 4 (for....reasons š„²) but opened up and brought attention of somethings.
