british hermits, most to least normcore, by my own whims (normcore here associated with arranging and participating in social events, often with the lads, and or fitting in at an office dayjob):
grian. he's the most normcore british hermit. they're all strange, but he's the one most likely to be assimilate into the real world. can be imagined going to nandos with the lads (Jimmy, Joel etc.)
falsesymmetry. ok getting weirder. false is a little deranged but she gets things done. you can look at her and assume she's normal and being weird is a hobby for her
stress. stress IS deranged but she does run a fitness channel which decreases her weird points. she's also responsible and prioritizes her children over her minecraft, so I'd trust her with real world responsibilities
rendog. there is something wrong with him (affectionate), but i think he'd get enrichment from being introduced to the lads at spoons
xisuma. he has tried so hard to be normcore that he's fallen out of the other end. this vibe is almost overwhelming in an xisuma stream when you're listening to cleo sigh and go 'oh x'. would perplex the lads at spoons and refuse to eat at nandos
cleo. try and introduce cleo to the lads and they'll dissolve. loner energy. perfectly suited to being online. hermit most likely to understand joe hills. with enough prep will approach the lads like a cat sniffing through the door (and then get involved in a series of death games)
mumbo jumbo. it's quite simple really. redstone whizz who cycled the whole way across europe for fun. mumbo is a special flavour but it's not normcore (idk what it is tho)
zedaph. least normcore. why is he like that? it's wonderful, but why? he perplexes even the gamecode. phenomenal work

People think the way Cleo plays Minecraft is weird, so this is where I explain how I play
I play on my TV as well, cross legged with my keyboard on my lap. My mouse goes on the foldable cup holder part of my couch, leaving me to put any drinking in the far away cupholder so my hand doesn't smack it when I move my mouse. I'll often put a bag of chips in between from the back of the couch and the cupholder, so my hand, also, doesn't bump into my food while I play.

yeah sooooo, my hand is kinda having a breakdown at the moment so I was kinda forced to take a break for a day, doesnt mean that I'm not gonna play catch up of course (also tango will get posted tonight just gotta let my hand rest more lol)

Inktober Day 24: Fairy
I think Cleo should be a terrifying agate like a better more effective version holly blue
agates are In charge of disciplining groups of quartz
Cleo was a teacher irl and the the mom within the clockers Cleo is very good at scolding others and is able to intimidate others into submission just like an agate
One of my favorite things in Steven Universe is fusion and my favorite part of fusion is the contrasting unique dance styles of the characters
so here is what I think the gemcyt characters individual styles are
Jimmy I don’t know the style but he has a lot of leg movements and kicks as a reference to his irl love of football
Grian his style is disco because he had a hippie theme that one time and disco was around during that Time period also he uses that finger to the sky move to poke his partner because he is a little gremlin
Joel does ballet like the pearls in cannon but even though he is not the shortest in this au he still over compensates by puffing out his chest like a peacock and he is on his tippy toes as much as possible and jumps into the air very often
Lizzie Hula dancing because her design is based heavily on empires season one lizzie the ocean queen she takes inspiration from island dancing
Cleo has very stiff movement because she is zombie Cleo and she dances like Michael Jackson in the thriller music video and she dances walk like an Egyptian because mummy’s are Kinda like zombies
Scott does not use his feet because as a sapphire floats and he does not use his legs he spins a lot and he has a very old Scottish style because he is Scottish
Skizz dances like the prince from Cinderella because he is a prince amongst men

Cleo is the oracle but not just because she’s a red head artist like Rachel Elizabeth dare
I just think the idea of her having to have someone fallow her with a mattress or hand to catch her after she’s done with the prophecy is hilarious
because I’m imagining that it’s a mandatory job that all campers have to do in shifts and Martyn hates it
without fail he is always a no show when it’s his turn and he is downright shameless in his blatant ditching
on the one and only occasion he did show she actually had a prophecy and he didn’t even try to catch her but he came up with a good excuse to get out of trouble
after that day Cleo loathed him and petitioned for him to never be allowed to have oracle duty again at this point the counselors were ready to give up trying to get martyn to show and cleos word was the last nail in the coffin and as you can imagine martyn was ok with the erangment
And So martyn won the battle but Cleo would not let him win the war because she may be a mortal oracle but if she was a demigod her mom would totally be nemesis and we know it

i know they are Barely allies but i think... i think they can be besties. as a treat to me whos two faves are mart and cleo. anything w them like... existing 2gether would b brill

“Joe, I am thinking about death,” Cleo declares, hanging from the teeth of her snake cavern.
“…okay,” Joe says, slowly. He’s still looking through her chests for spare birch for some reason. She’s letting him. She really, really doesn’t need birch.
“Well, I mean, I thought you should know,” she says.
“I don’t mean to put you out by not bein’ suitably dramatic, but you think about death a lot,” Joe says reasonably.
“What? You’re good to talk about it to, what with you also being dead.”
“Am I truly?” Joe says. “I may be a ghost, and also transparent until each sunrise, but does that make me dead when I still speak? When I still dream, and change the people around me, and act?” He picks up a skeleton head from the chest and frowns. “Cleo, did you mean to lose this?”
“See, that’s what I mean—no, give it.” She holds out her hand, and Joe hands over the skull.
“Oh, good. Because if I held this too long talkin’ about mortality, someone might think it’s a bit too on the nose.”
Cleo snorts. “Alas, poor Cleo. I knew her, Joe.”
They’re both companionably silent for a bit.
“Any reason?” Joe says, after seemingly giving up on finding the birch he’d been looking for.
“For the skull? Joe, did you hit your head?”
“No, for talkin’ about death again, and why I don’t think we are.”
“Oh,” Cleo says. “Grian’s doing that game of his again, and I’m playing.”
“Oh! Good luck, have fun, as the kids and gamers say.”
“Thanks Joe. Appreciated.”
“No problem!” He turns to her and beams and she laughs.
“And you basically answered it anyway. What I’d give for everyone else to see it the way you do. We do, I guess. Death, I mean.”
“One day, they will!” Joe says brightly.
“Oh, that was ominous. I’m jealous.”
“With a little luck and also, ideally, some birch logs, you can be exactly as ominous as I am. Just three easy payments of I need those logs so badly Cleo why did you give me false hope—”
Cleo laughs.

every time I think about last life cleo and bigb I go NUTS. it's about the betrayal! it's about the agony and regret! it's about the tragedy of being torn apart by a supernatural power! it's about the human mistakes and the ability to make choices! it's about the revenge! its about the way they ended up destined to only kill each other! it's about the river! like GOD when I talk about emergent storytelling and how much I love that in mcyt rp this is what I mean!!!!
Scar likes to paint the other's nails a lot, mainly because he can do a lot of different patterns for different hermits, especially those with longer nails.
One of his favorite people to paint their nails is Mumbo, mainly since if he puts a dark shiny color, the redstone dust that inevitably gets on Mumbo's hands make the nail polish look even better.
Scar's least favorite person, though he doesn't hate doing their nails, is Rendog. The reason why is because Ren bites his nails, not biting them completely off most of the time, but just softly biting one of his nails when he's thinking, even with the nail polish, which leads to chipping.
Unfortunately, the nail polish doesn't last long before it starts chipping off, with all of the hermits building & gathering materials it's just a matter of time before the nail polish gets ruined. But you know what that means? It means that Scar gets to paint them again! How fun!
If a Hermit comes and asks him for a nail painting, he always finds a way. Cleo's nails mostly gone from an un-lifetime of undeath? Well, he'll just make the remaining ones even prettier then! Jevin doesn't have nails? Well...if he can find some spare gravel nail-ish enough to use, Scar will paint that too. It's much appreciated, and a ton of fun!
