The NYPD deleted this tweet, but the fact is they proudly displayed having caught people who took diapers and cough medicine.

Basic. Necessities.

This is not public safety. This is cruelty on display.

Just to get this straight.

Men can dress feminine, women can dress masculine: clothes don’t have to have a Gender.

It’s also ok to dress feminine and like „feminine“ things as a woman.

Just as men are allowed to like „feminine“ things, and women are allowed to like „masculine“ things.

Equal rights does not mean, that the ones who want equal rights will have more rights than the ones who already do. Because equal does not mean that the ones who have the right already will lose it.

Someone being offended by what you may call your „Dark Humor“ does often not mean that they are sensitive, but that what your joking about was inappropriate. And I am talking about r*pe jokes, jokes about cultural or racial prejudices, body shape, disabilities etc. If someone feels offended or hurt by something, it is not funny.

Someone having a different culture, sex, religion, skin colour or over all appearance than yourself, does not make them less worthy of equality and love.

Let’s celebrate our differences and learn from each other, instead of demonising everything that’s different.

Violence is not a solution.

Someone who’s having a disability isn’t any less human because of it.

Someone peacefully living and/or practicing their religion or culture is not a threat to anyone.

Hating someone because of the way they look, dress, or because of the country their from, is not ok.

Having a mental illness is ok, and not a shame.

Being afraid is ok, and not a shame.

Asexuals & Aromantics are a valid part of the LGBTQ+ Community.

Not to know which gender your identify with, if even, is ok.

Not knowing what your romantic or sexual attraction is, is ok.

Having sex with your partner without their clear consent is in fact R*pe.

Yes, r*pe can go both ways, men can be r*ped by women just as they can be r*ped by men. And women can be r*ped other by women just as they can be r*ped by men. But the fact is, that the r*pists are male in most cases.

It’s ok to not want children.

Your body, your choice.

Not liking someone is ok, attacking or threatening them and/or their families, is not.

Loving yourself and your body, is ok.

Feeling beautiful, is ok.

Having a bad day is ok too.

Being yourself is ok.

And no I do not mean it’s ok to harass, attack, invalidate, kill (or whatever else that you know I did not mean) people because that‘s „who you are“.

That’s the lamest excuse I‘ve ever heard and ever will hear.

Everyday there are innocent men, women, and children that get attacked by bombing, machinery, and bullet ablaze. There are billions of money that are going to the Israel military occupation, whom are also attacking Palestine and it's not just them. "We don't want two countries, they want 48." Don't let this continue. Help us stop this. Help us shout to the world, and free them of their chains. No more terror. This has to stop, and this has to end. Just because there is ONE bad apple doesn't mean that the rest is rotten. They want to be heard. I want to be heard. So please help us, inform others around you. Don't help those corrupted with power to keep on traumatizing, stop the pain and suffering, help STOP the tears that flow from their eyes and onto the thousands upon thousands of bodies that are left to be covered. I Am Not Your Asian American Doll: a comic for AAPI Heritage Month 2023

I usually spend a lot of time editing and fine-tuning my comics so that they come across as polite and inoffensive. But honestly, I’m really tired of the way Asian cultures and countries are treated / talked about while Asian people themselves are excluded, and thought it was about time I really let my rage out lol.

God okay I'm just. So fucking tired. So here's a list of resources to educate yourself on issues within Star Wars. In light of the Bad Batch Finale and the announcement of the second season, it's vital that you educate yourself about the racism and other issues present.

Reminder that you cannot be in the middle. You are either racist or anti-racist. If you do not practice anti-racism and choose to stay "neutral", you are only supporting a system that constantly perpetuates racism and harms people.

And if for some reason, you think I'm overreacting; for some reason, you think I'm sensitive; for some reason, your first instinct is to get defensive and lash out; you really need to do some thinking as to why you want to scream at POC who just want the right to be recognized and seen. Who just want the right to not be erased.

And if you think this is "not good enough" because they're "just blog posts" or whatever - don't bullshit me. Even if I posted a shit ton of scholarly articles you wouldn't have read them anyway if you're coming at me with excuses for why you think the discrimination is okay. These posts are accessible, and well-written, and straight from the lived experiences of the many minorities and the allies that want to amplify their voices. I'm not asking you to take everything at face value. I'm asking you to do your own research and engage in some critical thinking instead of blindly accepting what you're given.

What I've listed above is only a single drop in a massive ocean. There are so, so many other minority groups who are also suffering that I haven't listed. I haven't even touched on homophobia, on transphobia, and I've barely touched on ableism, not to mention that there's so many other issues out there. I haven't talked about the issues with how the Tuskens are portrayed, or how Watto is portrayed, or how Jar Jar Binks was portrayed, or how Kelly Marie Tran was treated, or how Trace and Rafa Martez were treated, or how the fandom hates Mace Windu, or how Poe's backstory was butchered, or much, much more. If you have more resources, please please please share them in the reblogs. It is impossible to encompass everything in a single post, but we sure as hell can try.

Alright. I've given you the resources. I've given you my time and energy. It's up to you now to educate yourself. It's ok to make mistakes - we're constantly learning and unlearning. It's ok to need to take breaks, and to save this for later because you're tired and the world is going to shit. We are human.

But it's not okay to stay willfully ignorant. It's not okay to constantly try and belittle the trauma and struggles of minorities just because you've been okay living in a system that's built on oppression. Educate yourself.

One more tip: when reblogging or sharing your own resources, flood your tags with everything to do with Star Wars. Flood the Crosshair tag. Flood the Hunter and Omega tag. Flood the tags, because this is relevant to their characters and to the entire saga, and fans need to know.
