My name is Hashem from Gaza. I am 32 years old and my wife, Samar, is 27 years old. We have a child born in the eighth month of pregnancy. His mother was premature because of my wife's fear of war. My large family consists of 8 members: my father, mother, four male brothers and 2 females. My father died in the war due to a lack of medicine in hospitals as a result of the fierce war on Gaza.
My story began when we were displaced from our home in northern Gaza in mid-October 2023 after a letter threatening eviction, and then the house was targeted and destroyed. Between this Exodus and the current fifth Exodus there are many stories and sufferings.
We now live in plastic tents, which are thermal ovens, which are not suitable for living and do not provide the minimum necessities of life, in addition to the spread of epidemics and diseases, which puts our lives in danger.
Through this campaign, we are trying to collect enough money to meet our needs and get us out of the Gaza Strip safely. We ask you to stand by us and protect us from this severe danger.

Today is Friday 28-06-2024
Farewell to the mothers of martyrs in the Gaza Strip. As I write this post, massacres are taking place now in the area next to us, which is the Rafah highways, and the bodies are in the roads and ambulances cannot reach them. We are now in a state of displacement, danger is approaching us, and we do not have the basic necessities of life.
I hope you will look at us with compassion and humanity, and alleviate our suffering a little. Support and share our story on your page.

I planned to go to sleep early, wake up at 5:30 am, work out early etc. but sadly I couldn't because i had to wait for my sister to come back from work (2 hours after i was supposed to go to sleep). So, I woke up at 7am and washed my hair and showered. It took a whole hour! After washing my hair, i worked out - today was pilates, i only did half tho. Yeah, I should work out before showering BUT i take a long time in the bathroom and others wanted to get ready too, so i had to be smart and shower earlier. I did only the first 30 minutes of pilates and then stretched, I did gua sha too! Few hours later we were in the church for 2 hours and went to visit the graves of our family members. Then we went to visit my grandpa (dad's side) and it was fun ngl, we were talking and i finally didnt spend much time on my phone - instead we talked, a lot! (I'm an extreme introvert) Then we went to my grandma (mom's side), she had cake but i didn't eat any of it because im on a no sugar diet. It didn't make me sad tho, I didn't crave sugar that much today. We talked a lot too, and i didnt even take my phone! I felt sooo pretty and i actually accepted that im fr attractive (I have body dysmorphia disorder). I got two strawberry chocolate bars from my grandma (dad's side) and some cake from my grandpa (mom's side). After we came back home, i did the other part of my pilates. Then i relaxed and played DTI, did my skincare and read some books. It's sleep time now💤
I'm not the past version of myself who didn’t rest,
I'm not okay and I need the help.
Grounding techniques often use the five senses—sound, touch, smell, taste, and sight—to immediately connect you with the here and now. For example, singing a song, rubbing lotion on your hands, or sucking on some sour candy are all grounding techniques that produce sensations that are difficult to ignore or distract you from what’s going on in your mind.
This helps you directly and instantaneously connect with the present moment. At the same time, grounding reduces the likelihood that you will slip into a flashback or dissociation.
Grounding is highly personal. What may work for one person may trigger anxiety or flashbacks in another. You may need to do some trial and error before you figure out what grounding techniques work best for you. Pay attention to the coping mechanisms you’ve already developed to help you get through flashbacks and anxiety and see if you can build on them and/or use them as grounding techniques.
To connect with the here and now, do something (or several things) that will bring all your attention to the present moment. Be sure to keep your eyes open while you’re grounding yourself so you’re aware of everything that’s going on around you.
If you notice that you’re slipping into a flashback or a dissociative state, try some of these grounding techniques.
Sight
Complete a crossword puzzle, sudoku, word search, or other puzzles.
Count all the pieces of furniture around you.
Play a distracting game on your tablet, computer, or smartphone.
Put on your favorite movie or TV show.
Read a book or magazine.
Take a mental inventory of everything around you, such as all the colors and patterns you see, the sounds you hear, and the scents you smell. Saying this out loud is helpful too.
Smell
Get some essential oils that remind you of good times (freshly cut grass, rain, clean laundry, or sugar cookies, for example) and smell one.
Light a scented candle or melt scented wax.
Sniff strong peppermint, which also has the benefit of having a soothing effect.3
Sound
Call a loved one.
Put on some nature sounds such as birds chirping or waves crashing.
Read out loud, whether it’s a favorite children’s book, a blog article, or the latest novel.
Talk out loud about what you see, hear, or what you’re thinking or doing.4
Turn up the radio or blast your favorite song.
Taste
Bite into a lemon or lime.
Let a piece of chocolate melt in your mouth, noticing how it tastes and feels as you roll it around with your tongue.
Suck on a mint or chew peppermint or cinnamon gum.
Take a bite of pepper or some hot salsa.
Touch
Cuddle and pet your dog or cat if you have one.
Drink a hot or cold beverage.
Grab an article of clothing, a blanket, or a towel and knead it in your hands or hold it to your cheek. Concentrate on what it feels like.
Hold an ice cube and let it melt in your hand.
Massage your temples.
Pop some bubble wrap.
Put your hands under running water.4
Rub your hand lightly over the carpet or a piece of furniture, noting the texture.
Take a hot or cool shower.
Other
Dance.
Go for a walk or run.
Send a letter or card to someone you care about.
Sit in another room or area for a change of scenery.
Stretch your arms, neck, and legs.
Take 10 slow, deep breaths.
Write in a journal about how you’re feeling or keep a list of prompts handy that you can use to decide what to write about.
The nice thing about using grounding as a coping technique is that many of these techniques can be done in any environment.5 You might be home alone or out in public, but once you feel that flashback or dissociation coming on, you can use grounding to move your focus back to the present.
Working on grounding takes dedication and it becomes easier over time. If these particular grounding techniques don’t work for you, try something else. For example, some people find that a rubber band on their wrist is useful to snap them back to the moment. The ultimate goal is to live in the now and focus on the present when the past starts coming up.

Regardless of your body type, regardless of your looks, the only thing that will ever make someone ugly. Is their personality.
If you are mean to people who are just trying to be nice? If you bully people for having interests? If you bully people for the things that bring them comfort? If you bring down someone just because of what they're wearing or their looks? If you start arguments and bully people for not having the same opinion as you? If you never try to respect boundaries or triggers? If you don't respect people's choices that are opposite to yours? You are the ugliest person I've ever seen. So ugly I don't even wanna look at you. So ugly I don't even want to be around you.
But if you are nice, back to the people that are nice to you? If you encourage those interests. If you willingly go out of your way to help someone who's clearly struggling? If you respect and understand the boundaries and triggers? If your kind to yourself and take care of yourself along with others? If you go out of your way to pick up trash on the ground? If your kind, regardless of how mean people are? If you respect people's opinions, even if they are opposite to your? If you respect people's choices, even if you don't fully understand them? God you're beautiful. You're so stunning and gorgeous that I can't stop looking at you.
Looks don't matter. They don't. You can match the "perfect beauty standards" and be the ugliest person I've ever seen. Or you can be "ugliest" person in terms of "beauty standards," and I would want to portrait of you just to look how beautiful you are.
But there are exceptions.
All body types are beautiful and gorgeous, but there is a point where it can be harmful. You can be so skinny, I can see your ribs & it wouldn't make me admire your diet or your figure but that would make me worry you aren't eating enough and not taking good care of yourself. You can be obese and overweight, and that would not make you ugly, no not at all, but it would make you unhealthy and sick. And it would make me worry if you're taking proper care of yourself. There's a balance.
The point of this post is that the beauty standards of today are messed up and twisted. And at some point, people need to realize that the things that make a person beautiful or not their looks. But their personality. And while people are right to point out that all body types are beautiful! There's a point where it becomes dangerous to yourself and unhealthy. And the world needs to realize that.
So please, if not for anyone else, please take care of yourself for me. Will you? I love you. I hope you have an awesome day.

create your own spa! indulge in a bubble bath or relaxing shower where you can use yummy scented body washes/soaps/exfoliators and body conditioners, do a hair mask, give yourself a manicure and pedicure, do your eyebrows, have a set skincare routine that is catered personally to your skin problems/goals, give yourself a head massage, wear matching or yummy scented lotions and perfumes, work out, try new delicious recipes and make sure you are eating good for your body.
hobbies !!
all of the girls had their own hobbies they were into! explore new hobbies or start the ones you’ve always been wanting to do but have been putting off! not only are they fun but they enhance your life! you get to learn more about yourself and find out possible hidden talents or grow new ones, you meet new people and make new friends too whether it’s you doing the actual hobby or running across someone who enjoys the same things that you do! some hobbies to consider:
any dance class: ballet, hip-hop, k-pop etc.

one thing i love about the bratz is that they took their education seriously and helped each other whenever one of them needed the help. nothing is more fabulous than being educated and ambitious. you can do anything you put your mind to. 
create a study schedule for yourself and limit your distractions, when it’s time to study put your phone away and remove anything that you know will serve as a distraction to you, give yourself breaks from here and there too!
create a vision board! cut and paste pictures of things you want for your future onto a poster board or be creative and draw and color everything out! this is a great reminder everyday for yourself if you put it somewhere you’ll be able to see whenever you wake up or a spot in your room that you’re always looking at for example. (what you focus on grows!)
jot down all the things you want to do or improve on, whether thats creating good habits for yourself, learning a new language, etc.
have a passion for fashion !!

It’s hard to be accountable for yourself but at least there’s a way for you to have some insight and work on yourself.
The term "conscious" refers to the awareness and understanding of one’s own existence and feelings. I recognize that I can pursue and achieve my most passionate and seemingly unattainable dreams. It is essential to acknowledge this power within myself.
I often find myself puzzling over what the right choices are. I understand that human DNA grants us the capacity to make mistakes, allowing us time to reflect on what went wrong.
However, my mind tends to switch back and forth between fear and the overwhelming possibilities of scenarios in which I might feel eternally ashamed of myself.
In conclusion, I affirm that I am indeed a conscious individual.
