Chapter 9: We’ve won for now
Chris Redfield x Male reader

Summary: It’s time to finally save the world! Though you stumbled across some unwanted memories and apparently an injection made your second conscious louder? Though Chris is there and he finally helps you in a way both of you want.

You begin to start fighting Wesker as Sheva comes in helping you. You begin to start dodging Weskers attacks as Chris readies up a rocket launcher, you quickly dodge as Wesker grabs it.
Chris shoots the rocket as it blows up on Wesker. He cowers to the ground as you guys rush over with the injection. To slow. He regains his power as you guys fall back again. Sheva finds another rocket as she hands it to Chris. She hands you one to as you thank her.
Wesker begins to attack you as you all begin running again. You begin to block Wesker again as Chris launches the missile into Wesker as he grabs it. You pull your gun out blowing it up as you go behind him holding him back as Chris runs up to you both.
“Do it Chris!” You shout as he stabs Wesker with the injection. You step out the way as he stumbles backwards falling to the ground as he pulls it out. You guys watch him begin to struggle and groan in pain.
“This isn’t over.” He begins to run away as you begin to follow him. You guys make it to a plane as you and Chris hop on. Sheva begins to run as fast as she can. You reach your arm out as she jumps grabbing onto it.
“I’ve gotcha.” She pants as you smile at Chris. “Almost over.” You sigh.
“It seems I may have underestimated you both.” You roll your eyes as you guys stop in your tracks. “Uroborus will be released into the atmosphere causing complete global saturation.”
You huff. He rushes you angrily as he begins to purely focus on you. He knocks you to the ground as Sheva and Chris try to help you. With a final punch he knocks you out. Chris and Sheva get even angrier as Chris opens the plane hatch. Chris grabs you tightly holding onto you as Wesker manages to grab Sheva.
Your eyes shoot open as she looks at Chris and you as she gives another smile. She lets go. Your eyes go wide. “No!!!” Chris shouts.
Why was this familiar. “Inject it, trust us.” You heard voices whisper. What the hell…? You than remember the milky white injection.
“What’s the harm of injecting it? Only destruction inside your body and outside. Oh well.”
They do say your minds a scary place.
“Fuck it.” You grab the injection from your pocket shooting it into yourself. Hopefully the voices were right. You let go of Chris as you grab Sheva tightly. You felt a weird rush of adrenaline as your heartbeat began to get faster.
You begin to feel ill as Chris holds onto your ankle. “I’m taking the three of you with me!” Wesker shouts. “Like hell you will!” Sheva stomps his hand knocking him out the plane.
It crashes as you groan out in pain.
You begin to writhe on the floor as your heartbeat starts speeding at an inhuman pace, feeling adrenaline coursing through your body. You flail around as you close your eyes again going back to the hell you experienced in your younger years.
“The only reason I’m keeping you alive is you DNA.” Spencer slaps you as you cry out. “Otherwise your body, your simply nothing to anyone, ANYONE.” He looks at your strapped form. Chains around your ankles and wrists as you cry.
“Waste of flesh.” He exclaims as the scientist straps your mouth closed. One of them begins to turn the electrocution on as one holds your head still. You begin screaming for help but to no avail, they bring it down to your he-
You hyperventilate violently as your eyes shoot open as a newfound motivation and strength powers you. You wheeze as you raise yourself up. You locate Chris as you seemingly teleport to him. You grab his waist tightly as you give him a smile.
“Your eyes sir!” Similar to Weskers yet so different. All white, like an Angel. At least that’s what Chris saw. You smile as you help Sheva up. You guys focus on Wesker as you begin to get to higher ground. “CHRIS!” You look over to see Wesker readying his tentacles.
Chris and Sheva begin to shoot him as you paid close attention to him seeing what the best way to attack was. A seemingly impossible shot to hit for a human, but to you It was like he was going in slow motion. They mange to shoot him enough that uroborus’s core shows. “I’ve got this.” You tighten your fists as you rush into him with incredible speed challenging light. You look at him dead in the eyes as you bring your fist back punching dead through his chest angrily.
“Holy shit!” Sheva shouts as the whirring of a helicopter is heard. You push Wesker away as the rock breaks he falls into the lava as he screams in pain.
Jill sets the latter down as Sheva grabs onto it. “Hurry up!!!!” You help Chris up as it starts to fly away. You jump up grabbing it.
“Climb Chris come on.” You hold onto him gently as they help you up. “Y/NNN!!” You groan. “Fuck me.” Jill looks at your eyes confused. (Not the right time to be enamored by him 🙄)
He grabs the helicopter tilting you all over.
You all scream in shock “Use those!” Jill points, Sheva nods at you and Chris as you guys get up to grab them. “Ready partner?” You nod
“We used to be so close Al, what happened?” You knew, you knew it was umbrella. He was simply doomed from the start just as you were. Maybe in another life you guys could’ve kept the brother relationship.
You guys both launch the rockets at the same time as a huge explosion rings through everyone’s ears.
You all fall backwards as you guys get away from the volcano quickly.
“Did we win?” Jill asks shocked. “We’ve won, for now.” You turn looking behind you. You all smile at each other as you hug Jill and Sheva.
You try to hug Chris but he pushes you away. “Come on Chris just do it.” Jill speaks with a sigh. “I’m sorry in advance.” He lets out a sigh and blushes as he grabs your face kissing you. “We’re they not already dating?” Sheva asks Chris pulls away with a heavy blush as you smile.
“Bought time.” He rolls his eyes at your remark as he hugs you tightly. You returning it. Almost 3 weeks back and you saved the world and even got a prize.
