Thinking her and her family moved from Kanto to Unova when she was really young, and they moved to Emmet and Ingo’s neighborhood later on. Nobody warned her not to open her door till the news was delivered.

She’s got her Blitzle from a previous town, while the boys haven’t gotten theirs yet. Soon though! They have a bit of a rocky start, but I like to think they just laugh at it when they’re older.

The narrow window before management cuts back the spring blooms is one of my favourite times. But if I had to fight pokémon hiding in the tall grass to get to my train, I'd be significantly less pleased.

On a different note, here's a more light-hearted separate sketchy scenario that didn't really fit with the previous lot;

Apparently Elesa loves bad puns and that's hilarious to me.

Yes, for real, my day job is driving passenger trains. Choo Choo, Stop, Go, Open Doors, "Please move down inside the train" The whole shebang. It's a pretty good gig but scores high on the 'monotony' chart; same routes, same trains, 9 hours on the bounce, but yeah I do enjoy it :)

If you're ever interested in the rail, no matter what country you're in, there will be rail forums run by enthusiasts who'll have all the info you could possibly want. 👍

More kid Nimbasa trio stuff… I just think Emmet and Elesa would make great friendly rivals to each other… They’re both like “Finally, a worthy opponent!” while Ingo’s trying to make sure it doesn’t go into an all out brawl. They’ll all mellow out eventually (and Elesa will end up taller than them), but for now… rowdy bunch.

Not all products for Pokemon are good for human consumption. Also, if you haven’t accidentally gotten your sibling sick in some way, are you really siblings?

Mac n Chee Victory (inspired by @panklocalbard 's latest drawings and my terrible taste.)

(Nimbasa trio being siblings TM) GAH THE FORMATTING WAS LOST ill fix it after work sorry!!

Ingo heard the small ping in his pocket followed by several more in the span of time it took him to pick up his phone. All Emmet. The texts were all just his brother texting his name with one exclamation point.

Not an emergency, then, that would be worthy of two or more.

He could tell from the bottom corner that Emmet was typing probably another of the same message. Small miracles his brother hadn't learned the copy-paste ability.

What?

Ingo sent the text, barely having time to blink before getting a response.

Ingo rolled his eyes and bit back the need to respond with something along the lines of "I can, you've seen me make it", but decided not to this time.

Instead, Ingo moved on autopilot to the kitchen. They kept a stockpile of "Mac n chee" for a reason.

The water was halfway to a boil when Ingo got another text. Elesa this time.

I'm bringing ketchup :3

NO

Ingo texted back quickly in all caps. She was always allowed to join but she knew the rules of "mac n chee". No ketchup.

He swapped to the message with Emmet. It was a mess of happy faces and reaction gifs by now.

Emmet. She's bringing ketchup.

I'm on it.

Measure the milk, get the butter, strain the noodles, add in the cheese, mix, ignore the screaming, all part of the routine.

"Don't you DARE get it on my coat!"

"Don't get it on MINE! Why did you bring it??"

"It tastes good, you two just have no ta- Stop give it back!!!"

"Victory!"

Ingo laughed at their antics, spooning the food into three bowls. "It's ready!" He meant only to call loud enough for them to hear from the doorway, but it ended up louder than they'd been yelling. Whoops.

"Verrrrry good! Thank you!" Emmet said, hiding the ketchup on the top of the refrigerator with the other 7 bottles of contraband she'd dared to bring. Wait there were only 6 now- was she stealing them to continue-

"Thank you, Ingo." Elesa took one of the bowls from him with a smile that made Ingo immediately suspicious. "It'll be great with this!"

She produced a small ketchup packet from her pocket and poured the contents onto the mac n chee before the brothers could stop her.

"No…" Ingo whispered, heartbroken.

His brother fell to his knees dramatically. "I've failed! No!!!"

"Dweebs." Elesa said, triumphantly mixing her evil concoction. She took a bite, it tasted like victory.

Shortly arriving home after a rather glum day, Elesa finds herself staring at an old photo. Receiving a call from another gym leader, explaining Emmet's absence from Ingo's funeral.

"I don't blame him for not coming, he still believes Ingo is out there" :(

I imagine it must have been horrible for Emmet and Elesa after his disappearance. The sleepless nights, the paused events, and the endless searching. ~

I sure hope Ingo comes back home to Nimbasa 💛 🤍 🖤
