He Kept It Going - Blog Posts

Coriolanus Snow is enneagram 3 sp/so, I said it.

I might have forgotten some details in TBOSAS but I found out some people typed him as Enneagram 8?

He didn't step into a situation and immediately take charge or intimidate people like Enneagram 8 usually do, he didn't command the room either. He cared a lot about his image and the Snow name, concerned about showing the right image of the Snow family and doing his part as a Snow. He was also quite detached from his human traits like empathy in his pursuit of success and security, always thinking about what he could gain from a particular decision he made — that currency or 'quid pro quo' mindset is very Enneagram 3. He was focused on climbing the ranks. He got closer to people with power, authority and influences; like the insane doctor despite knowing the woman was dangerous, and Sejanus' parents, and his 'friends'. This is why he liked Lucy Gray at first, because she attracted the attention of the audience, i.e. influence. He smiled and pretended while working his way to the top. He's so enneagram 3, the worst kind, of course.

I haven't thought about his MBTI but I found out people also typed him as INTJ. I mean.... if that's true, INTJ enneagram 8 would not budge like he did, they would not play the game. INTJs are stubborn about doing things their way, INTJs are not always aware of social dynamic like Coryo did, plus they lack loyalty to traditions or the established rules of the social game. INTJ enneagram 3 however? They would adapt and play the game, while disagreeing with it at the same time and changing it slowly to fit their needs as they go. Which Coryo did. Well, he might not disagree with the Hunger Games but he didn't exactly agree with everything that was going on (at first) either, he just didn't fight against it like Sejanus did. He insulted people in his monologue but he still played the game, he made changes in the Hunger Games too.
