Sometimes I google what it feels like to be stabbed so that I can understand the pain of the charecter and feel more connected with the book while reading it.
Reading this one because of someone. Iām really enjoying the book. I havenāt seen the movie yet but I plan to after I finish the book.
Thanks @strawberry-milk-angel for helping me pick this book.
Reading the last 100 pages of the book Ready Player One is the most fulfilled moment Iāve had since March when I finished seeing The Office, and thatās the tea.

Back home, Connellās shyness never seemed like much of an obstacle to his social life, because everyone knew who he was already, and there was never any need to introduce himself or create impressions about his personality. If anything, his personality seemed like something external to himself, managed by the opinions of others, rather than anything he individually did or produced. Now he has a sense of invisibility, nothingness, with no reputation to recommend him to anyone.

There is something so comforting about sitting at libraries late at night with a candle, while you gulp the pages of a book with a hungry fervour. You are so lost in a different world, for a while nothing matters except for the pains of your character and you don't even realise it's dawn. You haven't moved an inch, your back aches, your eyelids are drooping, but you feel this contentment in your chest, and god I would give anything to bring that feeling back.
september 7th: currently reading!
first, iām reading Of Mice and Men for my english class ! weāre reading very slowly and weāre only on chapter 2 but itās interesting so far. and iām also reading The Perfectionists for myself! iām really enjoying it !! itās a lil cheesy (like PLL, which i watched all of) but very fun. itās an easy read, but the writing is pretty good (imo). iām probably going to finish it today - i ordered the sequel, which i think arrived in the mail, so, exciting! :)

With that being said, if anyone had read The Knife of Never Letting Go and is dying just as much as me, know you are not alone in your pain. My Indigo order just came in with the second and third book, so youāll be hearing more from me soon.

"But you were like this invincible force to me,even then. You were a safe place to hide my hopes."
Alexandra Bracken, Lore
Sunja stared at him. In the moments before her death, her mother had said that this man had ruined her life, but had he? He had given her Noa; unless she had been pregnant, she wouldn't have married Isak, and without Isak, she wouldn't have had Mozasu and now her grandson Salomon. She didn't want to hate him anymore. What did Joseph say to his brothers who had sold him into slavery when he saw them again? "You Intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives". This was something Isak had taught her when she'd asked him about the evil of this world.
