This is how Soundwave’s and Blaster’s fights always look like to me. Catsette carrier fighting… the way they hate each other so bad makes me think of two stray cats bumping into each other and immediately getting hissy about seeing another cat in general 🙄 so many it’s just a cassette carrier thing. They must be introduced to the other slowly and comfortably or else they WILL fight like cats
I like his apperance so much and i decided to make a full art with background. This darcarian is part of other subspecies, who lives in tundra. Because of cold and difficult access to resources they more centered around developing technologies than others.
In my universe actually magic and tech do not contradict each others. They both working with same laws of universe. And not matter will you create machines or perform rituals to achieve same goals.
Swtor is one of my favorite games last time. And i always like those imperial trooper armors. And for me this older armor is much better looking than clone/stormtrooper armors in the movies. So i did this art with myself equipped with this type of armor.

I like to think that when they get startled, they’d instinctively transform into their alt modes like turtles or pangolins cuz they’re much more compact and sturdy and smaller targets 😌 also maybe possibly I am secretly a sucker for bloominglegumes’s jazterwave stuff so I wanted to make something with them too 🙄 but I’ll never tell. Also this is my first time drawing Jazz, so I hope it’s good for the Jazz fans out there
Recently I saw a post about the rivalry between Soundwave and Blaster (specifically g1 and a lil bit of idw) and it got me thinking about their dynamic. Specifically how much I really don't like/care for it? Especially Blaster specifically, I LOVE soundwave and am always down for more soundwave dynamics/relationships. But something about their rivalry specifically is just so unsatisfying to me. Mainly due to how unbalanced the rivalry is. Blaster in g1 pretty much exists to counter Soundwave, but it always felt so 1 sided to me no matter how often g1 had them match off. Like, there's no specific reason why they dislike each other, they just do. What really bugs me is how Blaster has such a bare bones personality outside of hating soundwave and dancing. Soundwave is allowed to do and be so much more outside of Blaster, but Blaster does almost nothing else aside from fighting Soundwave. It doesn't feel like a real rivalry. Soundwave just straight up doesn't care about Blaster lol. It's so unsatisfying, at least it is to me. Idw tried to make it more even/reasonable by giving Blaster a reason to hate Soundwave, but Soundwave still just doesn't care about Blaster at all. It doesn't really matter either because Blaster does damn near nothing throughout the entirety of idw and the only time their "rivalry" is even discussed is in the Blaster spotlight iirc. I really want to like Blaster cause he's a cool concept, but his singular defining dynamic/relationship is uninteresting to me and Jazz just does everything he does as an autobot/personality that he does but way better. I also just don't think rivalries suit Soundwave, he's much more concerned with Megatron and the decepticon cause to fret about an individual autobot. Especially when there are traitorous bastards like Starscream afoot lol.
