There is multiple ways to squat, everyone thinks that squatting will build your glutes and complain months later why your Quads are huge but your butt only changed slightly.
Check those shin angles and if your doing it with a barbell do low bar squats (Google it).
Have a trainer or fitness coach teach you how to Deadlift or even sprint. A combination of Low bar squats, Deadlift variations, and sprints will create a butt youโd never expect to have. It takes time but when it happens youโll be in awe how much you can change the butt.
