That he was truly the exception and it was because Albus planned to use him from the very beginning. Remus recognising he was instilled with this sense of debt towards dumbledore, Remus becoming disillusioned with Dumbledore and started seeing him for what he really was. Looking at the man they'd all followed in blind faith and wondered where the hell it got them and questioning if he was even worth following. Remus taking the job in POA not only because he needs the money, but because he wants to keep a closer eye, knowing that harry was under Dumbledore's care. Because he knew firsthand that at the end of the day Dumbledore's protection wasn't worth that much.

the Quilin (might've spelt that wrong) bows to Dumbledore??? This makes no sense to me. Isn't it supposed to bow to someone pure of heart who can handle power and not be corrupt??? Dumbledore has already shown that he can be corrupted from his dealings with Grindelwald, why would he be chosen? He's a good man but he certainly has a capacity for evil. I propose that the Quillin should've bowed to Newt. I am certain that that man is literally incorruptible and he is so pure and wonderful, all he wants to do is help creatures he does not and will never have plans to use power for ill, so isn't he perfect??? Idk I just thought it was odd.

Newt Scamander is in fact the cutest most wholesome person in the entire Harry potter universe and I will fight anyone who says he isn't that man is a cinnamon roll and I love him to bits
