Hey everyone, I am collabing with @draconicsparkle to write a komahina Pokémon trainer au where Hajime is a hybrid. I’m so excited to be working on this au and I also want to that draconicsparkle for writing the first chapter
vampire Nagito x werewolf Hajime this, vampire Hajime x werewolf Nagito that. Yeah, well I want a fluffy slow burn of werewolf Hajime x Kitsune Nagito in a fantasy setting. That’s all I want in life
(I may or may not just be saying this because I love fantasy, Komahina is my comfort ship, and kitsune and werewolves are my favorite mythical creatures👀)
Got bored and decided to write a fanfic for my interpretation of a Danganronpa Pokémon trainer au. Also no dialogue cause I suck at those ✌🏻
Hajime sat next to his fish tank with Eevee curled up in his lap asleep. He was currently watching as the different small water types swam to and fro. Izuru decided to gift him a fish tank years ago to help him with anxiety, witch helps him a lot, but he also just likes watching it due to the calming affects watching fish swim in a tank provides, like his own little private section of the sea all to himself. Though if he had to be honest, he was excited for later, for today was his and Nagito’s anniversary and Nagito decided to surprise him early with plans of going scuba diving in Melemele Sea. Hajime’s thoughts were interrupted by Eevee stretching, for the fluffy white Pokémon decided to finally start waking up, before starring at the clock reading 12:30 am, meaning it was time to meet Nagito outside. Nagito was already at the beach of Hau’oli Outskirts, just a little farther away from their house and to the right. He had apparently finished setting up their blanket and started pulling out various things for sandwiches while Hope lied next to him. the Absol’s white fur blew gently in the wind and her sharp green eyes stared as Hajime and Eevee approached, and her mega stone seemed to sparkle under the sun’s rays. Finally when everyone was done eating, both boys decided to finally put on their scuba gear and head out, leaving Eevee and Hope laying on the blanket. It took a few minutes but finally, they arrived to their destination and went in the water and once Hajime’s eyes opened, he was greeted with the beautiful sight Melemele Sea had to offer. He watched as a school of magikarp swam practically over his head and Nagito taking pictures of a group of corsola, before trying to catch one. Turning his gaze, he managed to get a picture of a mantine with its baby. The Mantyke was apparently not very afraid of humans, for just as Nagito caught up to him, the baby Pokémon seemed to have noticed him and quickly made a beeline for the white haired male. However, was redirected to the mother, pushing with her right wing to guide the baby to continue on their path. Nagito, however was able to reach his hand out to pet the Mantyke, making the baby do a spin in delight. As the day progressed, they managed to get various pictures of various Pokémon, beautiful and colorful coral and plant life. All in all a nice day, however, as they we’re about to ascend back to their boat, they found themselves in the center of the biggest school of fish they’ve seen all day. Their eyes widened in surprised delight as it turned out to be a school of Luvdisc, their beautiful rose colored scales shimmered in the evening sun. Making sure to get as much pictures as he could. Hajime tried to while Nagito was wearing a snorlax onsie. As Hajime walked up to Nagito to thank him for the fun day he had and to hug him, Nagito mentioned that he had a second surprise for him. Telling to close his eyes before he was handed what felt about 6 Pokéballs. Once he opened his eyes, he was presented with exactly 5 pokéballs and a love ball,witch Nagito said to let out first. The first 2 were luvdiscs, so in the end, he was able to add a couple of them to his tank after all. The next 3 were corsola, each greeting the two with a cry of happiness as they were lifted into the tank. Finally, Nagito handed over a love ball, the beautiful pink ball fascinated him. He knew Nagito caught Hope in a love ball, but he always assumed he only had the one. Releasing the Pokémon, he was greeted with another Luvdisc with beautiful golden scales inside of the usual pink. Nagito went onto explain that the miscolored water type was found when he caught the first two and that there was another just like the one he caught but it swam away before he could have the chance to catch it. In the end, Hajime decided to name this gold Luvdisc, Luna. Once Luna was placed into the fish tank, Hajime hugged Nagito in thanks. In the end, they cuddled up to each other and watched as Luna swam to and fro happily in her new home.
Hajime calls Nagito Clover because of his birthmark
Izuru accidentally called Chiaki Sunflower and she started ignoring Izuru unless he called her Sunflower
Nagito has a service dog thats a 1 year old Samoyed named Pumpkin. Her task is to help Nagito when he starts to spiral
Nagito found a stray black munchkin kitten that he named Mochi and it needs a prosthetic leg because it got attacked by a Monokuma and when Mochi met everyone, she immediately would play with anyone’s hair if it were long but she did try to play with Peko’s glasses they also they learned really quickly that Mochi doesn’t like when Nagito, Hajime, Chiaki, or Izuru leaves and will chase after them before going and doing her own thing, she doesn’t have separation anxiety or anything she just likes following them (tho she mostly follows Nagito) because when Izuru went to go work on a prosthetic leg for her, she tried chasing after him.
Mochi will befriend anyone Nagito befriends no matter the person’s personality but at the same time has an irrational fear of Future Foundation and even if Nagito was friends with some members, she’ll never befriend them except for Makoto and Kyoko, they have no idea why she’s scared of Future Foundation or why she befriend Makoto but they do believe she befriended Kyoko because she reminds her of Peko and Togami is jealous of that because he’s been working very hard to befriend her
Izuru has an outdoor cat that’s a lykoi kitten named Socks
Hajime has a wolf dog puppy (few months younger than Pumpkin) that he named Orange after his first Minecraft dog
Hajime thought Orange was a husky cause he intended to get a husky and was quite surprised to learn that he was a wolf dog (he did do research on how to take care of one though)
Orange is being trained to be a guard dog (he’s almost a year old just a few months younger than Pumpkin) and the reason why is because of Nagito’s luck cycle he works from home so Hajime decided to have Orange be a guard dog in case anything happened and he wasn’t there
(Btw, wolf dogs make absolutely terrible guard dogs. I essentially went with this head cannon more for fun)
Izuru has an outdoor cat that’s a lykoi kitten named Socks
Whenever they have movie night, Nagito likes to suggest horror movies during movie night especially when he learns that Hajime is scared of them and would clinging to him the whole time and sleep with him after
Hajime doesn’t burn easily but the ridge of his nose and the top of his cheeks do but it doesn’t hurt or anything it just itches
Hajime has freckles but they only become visible after being in the sun a lot
Whenever Hajime wants to take a nap, he’ll drag Nagito with him to cuddle. Nagito can always tell when he wants to take a nap because he’ll tug on his arm cause he’s to embarrassed to say it out loud but whenever Nagito isn’t able to cuddle with him, he’ll steal his jacket to wear
I’m just gonna share a bunch of head cannons because I’m bored and want to share these ones. There is no particular order:
Nagito loves to shower Hajime with kisses to make him laugh/smile
Whenever Hajime cups Nagito’s face, he melts and would kiss his hand every time
When Hajime is overly stressed or upset he wants to wear Nagito's jacket and Nagito can always tell cause Hajime quietly makes grabby hands towards him
Whenever Nagito finds 4 leaf clovers, he puts them in Hajime's hair
Nagito flat presses flowers Hajime gives him so he can 1 have them forever and 2 can use them as bookmarks so he can look at them whenever he reads. One time, Nagito found a dead monarch butterfly and casted it in resin on top of a rose and gave it to Hajime, it is his favorite thing in the world
Nagito has a small birthmark on the back of his neck in the shape of a 3 leaf clover and that is the actual reason why Hajime calls him Clover. He also likes kissing it because it causes Nagito melt and it’s the easiest way he can make him flustered
Chiaki taught herself to speak most D&D languages so if she gets mad at someone she would cuss them out in either elvish or infernal depending on how mad she got
Izuru taught himself how to speak elvish and infernal so he could understand her
Hajime learned enough to translate Chiaki and Izuru’s conversations but can only speak broken elvish and only knows how to say “I love you” in infernal and occasionally says it to Nagito
Izuru is aro/ace while Chiaki is aro/ace and s3x repulsed
Chiaki has a Pokémon onsie and she definitely tried getting both Nagito and Hajime to get matching Pokémon onsies but of the Charizard evolution line but they couldn’t convince Hajime to do that (he didn’t want to be Charmileon so he has a Glaceon one instead) so Chiaki has a Munchlax onsie and Nagito has a Snorlax onesie. Hajime also only wears his onsie in winter while Nagito and Chiaki wear their’s all the time
Chiaki shiny hunts when she beats a Pokémon game and Nagito finds shinies easily when he plays and he gives Hajime any shiny he had already because Hajime has zero patience to shiny hunt while Izuru only shiny hunts when Nagito and Chiaki convinces him to
Sonia has a pet fox named Dutchess
Fuyuhiko and Peko have pet rats named Opal and Ruby. Fuyuhiko chose an albino rat (Ruby) because her eyes reminds him of Peko’s eyes
Sonia and Nagito have scary movie nights where they find the scariest movies they can to watch. Kazuichi decided to impress them since everyone else thought the movies they watch were too disturbing and he regretted it afterwards
My secret goal: make everyone terrified of ladybugs.
Thank you so much for drawing this! I love the contrast between the two illustrations, and that poor daemon squirrel's shell-shocked expression in the second one! Being in the middle of shape-shifting makes her look even more unstable. (Her tail looks so fluffy though <3) The orange on black is also a nice detail, considering what happened. >8)
All in all, great portrayal of the natural progression of Hinata and Komaeda's relationship. X)
