"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Lolita." Although at the mention of another android he grew curious, because he had not met many others of his kind. Synthetics were fairly secrete to the general population. He also found himself curious at this time capsule that she mentioned. He didn't have any knowledge of such a thing, but the galaxy was a very big place and humanity did not know everything that existed out there. It would be arrogant to assume they did. "I'm uncertain. Conventional medicine has failed me and I've been unable to help them." He looked over this so called time capsule, this Lolita and attempted to process and understand what he was looking at. No scans he made revealed any information that made sense to him. "I should like to preserve as much life as possible. I'm afraid I won't allow your Captain leave until he's tested and cleared."
He observed this oddity before him from beneath his hood. He'd been many places in the galaxy, but this... this he did not know quite what to make of other than the fact that it was something alien to him. But that was besides the point. He had come here for more important matters. "My designation is C.A.Z." Brushing his rain dotted hood back he folded his hands together in front of himself. "I detected an anomaly and feared someone had landed so I came to warn your Captain that this is a quarantined planet. An illness has spread amongst the people here."

reminder that it’s okay to like certain media even if the creator is problematic or not the greatest human, or even if you just don’t like them. it’s okay to separate media from source. from show or movie creator, authors or artist. you are allowed to like what you like. whatever brings you comfort & joy. do not be discouraged by your interests even when someone else doesn’t agree with or like them as well. also remember that you can separate actor from character, don’t feel bad liking a character even with the actor is garbage. i myself love some characters where i later found the actor is absolute garbage but i still love the character. the character is not the actor. the media is not the creator.
He'd just leaned in to take the sample when the collision happened, sending him arse over end. It took a moment for his sensors to adjust to the fact that he was very much upside down, most of his weight on his shoulders and neck -which would likely have broken any human neck- and he had to tilt his head to take in the scene before him. He stared at the very open cage door and the very missing creature before inhaling sharply. "Oh dear. David is going to be very upset with me." He managed to right himself after some effort and then carefully began to search through the cargo. "Where've you gone?"
"Protecting humanity is my primary directive. I'll always look out for you, Captain." He turned towards the med kit to gather the things he would need to take the blood sample and get it analyzed. The creature didn't exactly look thrilled to be locked away and even less thrilled when it took a prick from the syringe, but he made it as quick and painless as possible for it before taking the sample to the lab. Now he would see what properties he could recognize in the blood of the creature and if the UC was telling the truth about what it could do.

"Why would anyone want to go into the atmospheres of gas giants in a space exploration game" because that's where the space whales live. Obviously.
Not a big fan of what melatonin has been doing to my dreams lately.
