I have been visiting our spot every week now, I have every object memorized in its place and I always check to see if they've moved, maybe I'm holding onto the idea of you also coming to our spot alone, but the rocks are still where we left them, the chocolate wrap you littered is still where you left it, and the note I wrote you out of despair is still where I left it. The note reads  "from the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew I was bound to lose you, because you are a diamond and all I can afford is a nickel, you are royal, and I am the cleaning man, and I am deeply sorry for what I am."
