Art show worthy? I hope so. I already sent them to be framed and hanged in the tri-state art show. I'll post some more if I decide to send any more off.

YOU!!!!!!!!!  GO ADORE THIS WOMAN!!!! @wingedhumangirl  She bought me another coffee!!! <3 <3 <3  So I made her a sketch! These are two of our characters, Roman, and Fonex. They are twin siblings and they’re both adorable, you can’t tell me any different. XP 

Draw characters from different angles instead of just the stale flat shots. That's dull. Try over the shoulder, from below the chest, something with foreshortening. It gives the drawing way more flavor. And if you want to generally improve your skills, draw stuff from life with as much attention to detail as possible. Especially when it comes to shadows. Not everything is just a singular blob of... something, they have texture and are made of different materials. I hope this is helpful!

Well, there’s two things I tried. I finally figured out how to get them to rotate. I know it was a while ago, sorry. I’d say be nice, but I don’t expect nor want that. Hee. I’ve been working on shadows as well. Been shading a lot of texture balls in class, but I didn’t manage to snap a picture. Anyway, have a wonderful day!

Calling Artists and Admirers

Hello! I am an armature artist who loves art. And yet.... I find I am challenging myself less and less. I am not breaching my comfort zone. I still love art, have motivation, I don't doubt my skill or claim to be the best. I just feel like something is... Missing.

In other words, I need help. I need some sort of flair or detail. I've always been open to critique but now I'm stating plainly. Give me those HARSH comments. Those MEAN words saying what could be better. I want it. I want it said nicely but dont worry about hurting my feelings.

Lovelys, this critique will help me more than anything.

If anyone is intrested in this critiquing. Tell me in an ask, comment, or message and I will post everything in my sketchbook, finished or not. YOU decide which I finish and I'll post the product. Then tell me what I could change or do better next time. Then maybe you'll also see more posts from me as well. Hee hee.

Hey, hey, remember when I said pirate dragons would be cool?  Um... I made a little story.  Meet Jax! He’s a pirate dragon who ships rare materials all over the world for a price. He gets made fun of because he is not only wingless, but has fur instead of scales, making him ‘weaker’ than most. However, he enjoys his little boat and his time alone on the sea.  Enjoys this little snapshot for now. X3  Ps. Never, ever make me do rope again. The X was with a reference, and even it looks like turds.

Heh. It seems like Fox has many protectors. 

I apologise for the low quality. I am unfamiliar with animation and the dragon had been taking some much needed rest.

I have got a few dragon linearts in my sketchbook that I want to do something with. So, I guess I'm asking for advice. Which ones should I color and which ones should I leave for now? I'm gonna color them all eventually. Also! Marker or pencil? Marker is brighter but I can mix colors better with pencil and shade better.

Here's another drawing. But hear me out: Dragon Pirates. Has that been thought of before? And why haven't I heard about it?

I did another one. Heh. One great way tip to get time for drawing: Get sick during finals week and draw to reduce crumbling stress. ;D

Felt sick, tired, and stressed so sat down and started drawing. Poor boy is messy and I have no idea why he's angry at the little dragonfly, but he just popped out of my mind and onto the page, so enjoy. Pleh, I don't share my art very often. Need to probably do more of that.

OH MY GOSH, YES!!!

I noticed this art blog has very little art so I challenged myself. I looked at an image and tried to recreate it without looking at the reference(Left) Then did it again using the reference. (Right). It is a dragon named Charm from a little game called Flight Rising. She’s a first generation Fae dragon and I love her to death.
