Seriously, do you realize how aesthetically pleasing the common room is?

I mean, like the blues and bronze made you feel like freakin’ royalty once you walk in

the most musical of the the common rooms - there’s soft sound of choir singing because of the magic, and the blue hues really calms you down REAL fast

tokyo: dot-paper notebooks, colour-coding notes with gel pens, studying + eating candy, setting up a diffuser for study times, beanbag chairs, minty lip balm, biology, fashion design, notes with lots of diagrams

paris: studying to the sounds of birds singing, taking well-deserved breaks by walking in the park, hair tied back with a pink ribbon, putting on a pair of round glasses, art, french literature, small neat writing

new york: writing notes in a high-rise apartment that smells of vanilla, almost illegible cursive handwriting, using little potted plants as paperweights, film analysis, mathematics, scribbles in the margins of textbooks

rome: revising classwork by fountains with gorgeous sculptures, reading small yellow-paged books, riding a hand-me-down bicycle to classes, ancient languages, physics, smelling of wild violets as you rush into the lecture hall

sydney: humming to yourself as you take notes, studying by a big window with a breathtaking view, or beside a fish tank where you can hear the water bubbling, cream soda, mechanical pencils, pleated skirts
