OMG, this kills me....so insightful & subtle & cool!
I lie — I totally had a rush of inspiration today for more fic ebook covers. The first set can be found here. I reposted the two covers I did earlier, as I changed one of them.

The changeling; or, Charles Xavier (a Novel by a Lady): Images taken from Clker and subsequently modified. Some of you saw an earlier version I posted on Twitter — I’m much more pleased with this one.
A Conspiracy of Ravens. The X-Men Phoenix symbol was nabbed off this forum thread and then modified, while the crown is from Clker.
Nine Eleven Ten. Feather from Clker.
Queen’s Gambit. I decided to keep the cover of Boden’s Mate so as to preserve continuity. I did change the chesspiece to a queen, from the same set on Clker as that of the bishop.
The Waking of the Red King. The coin is a black and white copy of the Czech Prague New Town gold coin, featuring Charles IV.
the western shore: I made a cover for the first story in the series, so why not the sequel? :D Again, I used images from Clker. The axe may not be accurate for the time period and/or culture. I’ve since changed this slightly.
These covers are free to use — no need to attribute me.
"This is who we are"
Michele is in awe of the cuteness.

My super fannishly supportive hubby made these T-shirt designs (top, which also has a Teen Wolf version; bottom), because we listened to all the Cabin Pressure on a road trip through Britain and I send him too many Tumblr links. As you can see, he’s taken it all to heart.
New Riddick Poster.
Penultimate chapter is always the best chapter, IMHO.
Also it becomes very necessary to have read the first story: the Song Unsung.
