Yada yada backstory stuff. Kid grew up like Sonic did. Mostly by himself. He knows who their parents are, but he isn’t close and doesn’t interact much outside of saving people and such. He’s got more of a Shadow personality and lone wolf thing going on, but Sonic’s hero complex and drive to help people. Honestly, he’s closer to Knuckles than their actual parents.

He knows he looks snazzy. I like to think the little fella travels dimensions, delivering mail from one Universe to another. His Dr. Robotnik must be so proud.
